Creation of arrangements for artists

Creating arrangements for Ukrainian artists is an important part of Mariia Yaremak’s creative work, with each project having its own unique concept and emotional depth.

Angelina Bukovska – ‘Zironka’ and ‘The Cage’. The collaboration with Angelina Bukovska resulted in two iconic works. For the track ‘Zironka’, Mariia Yaremak composed the music to Angelina’s lyrics. The main idea was to create a modern Carpathian lullaby that would sound as though it had existed for a very long time. 

The second collaborative piece, the song ‘The Cage’, for which Mariia worked on the musical arrangement, was recorded at Jenny Records studio. This composition is very personal, as it is dedicated to wives who are grieving the loss of loved ones, and is regularly performed during live concerts by the ‘Ukrainian Fantasy’ project.

Mariia Chumak – ‘The Unconquered Steppes’. This song was written as an emotional tribute to occupied Kherson. Mariia Yaremak composed the music to accompany Mariia Chumak’s lyrics, to convey the pain, hope and resilience of the city and its inhabitants during these extremely difficult times.

Beraia – ‘We Are Together’. Mariia Yaremak also produced the arrangement for the artist Beraia on the track ‘We Are Together’. The composition, created in collaboration with Mykhailo Oliinyk, is dedicated to the themes of unity, resilience and walking the path side by side through all the trials of war.
