UN Goodwill Ambassador Appointment Ceremony

On 7 October 2023, Mariia Yaremak performed alongside Grammy Award winners at a prestigious event in New Milford, Connecticut, during the official nomination of American composer Kim Sharnberg as a UN Goodwill Ambassador.

The ceremony, organised by Hunt Hill Farm, a non-governmental organisation accredited to the UN, honoured the legacy of Ruth and Skitch Henderson and brought together senior UN officials, cultural leaders and businesspeople from around the world.

The evening featured performances by:

– Paul Winter – seven-time Grammy Award winner;

– Chris Brubeck – a Grammy-nominated jazz composer;

– Henrique Eisenmann – Brazilian concert pianist;

– The New York Pops – an ensemble of PopsEd alumni;

– Mariia Yaremak – special international guest, Ukrainian composer and pianist.

The private event brought together just 50 invited guests and featured a culinary experience, art exhibitions and musical collaborations that celebrated cultural diplomacy, sustainable development and artistic heritage.

This performance marked Mariia’s continued presence on the international stage, combining music with high-level diplomacy.
