The ‘Ukrainian Diaries’ cycle

‘Ukrainian Diaries’ is a mini-album comprising two compositions for violin and piano by Mariia Yaremak and Ivanna Voroshilyuk.

It includes ‘Lullaby of Eternal Love’ – a composition paying tribute to the memory of children who have passed away prematurely and will never again hear their mother’s lullaby. The piece was composed in May 2022 following one of the largest missile attacks on the civilian population of Ukraine. Mariia has performed it in many cities across the UK.

The album also includes the piece ‘Memories About the Future’ for violin and piano – a special composition written by Mariia for a performance at a special UN event in 2023. It is about dreams that will never come true.
