‘Ukrainian Fantasy’ in Basel

On 29 August, as part of the Fantasie und Klang festival, the magical concert programme ‘Ukrainian Fantasy’ will take to the stage. We will embark on a unique cinematic journey through time, sounds and legends.

Together with the ‘Lviv Virtuosos’ string quintet and flautist Yaroslav Kutsan, Mariia will perform ancient folk melodies, original compositions and personal stories, in which everyone will be able to feel the cool breeze of the Carpathians, the warmth of a family home and the mysterious atmosphere of Ukrainian mythology.

The evening’s programme includes:

— fantasy-style arrangements of ancient Ukrainian melodies;

— original compositions by Mariia Yaremak;

— a performance accompanied by the ‘Lviv Virtuosi’ string quintet and Yaroslav Kutsan on the flute;

We invite you to spend this evening with us.
