Lviv Fashion Orchestra

On 8 September 2021, Mariia Yaremak took part in the Lviv Fashion Orchestra – a unique fusion of music and haute couture, which took place during Lviv Fashion Week with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
The event featured the premiere of Marta Vakhgolts’ ‘Spring/Summer 2022’ collection, accompanied by a live performance of original music by the ‘INSO-Lviv’ symphony orchestra. Mariia contributed to the creation of the orchestral concept and arrangements, working alongside Ulyana Horbachevska, Mariia Oliinyk and Mykhailo Baloh.
The performance blended traditional Ukrainian sounds with contemporary electronic and orchestral elements, featuring the following soloists:
– MANU (electronics)
– Ostap Kostyuk (Hutsul wind instruments, vocals)
– Yarema Pavliv (violin)
– Ulyana Horbachevska (vocals)
The project was highly praised for its artistic vision and format, which brought together the worlds of haute couture, ethnomusicology and live orchestral performance into a single cultural expression.
