Collaboration with artists: Jerry Heil

Especially for the Christmas and New Year’s edition on the Megogo platform, Mariia Yaremak created an orchestral version of Jerry Heil’s popular track ‘Snow’. For this project, she took full responsibility for developing a new musical concept and arrangement, transforming the song into an orchestral piece accompanied by the ‘Kyiv Camerata’ chamber orchestra.

The process began with the meticulous writing of detailed musical scores for each instrument in the orchestra, which enabled the professional musicians to realise the composer’s vision as accurately as possible during the recording. As well as directly supervising the live performance in the studio, Mariia also worked on the arrangements in the DAW, personally adding extra tracks to give the sound a contemporary cinematic depth and richness. The final stage of the work involved preparing the material for the final mix, where all the orchestral parts and electronic additions were combined into a cohesive, emotional composition for the festive broadcast.
